In this report, the report raised deep concern about the conservation of the important areas of the biodiversity of the Western Ghats. According to this report, the Western Ghats of India is under threat of population pressure, urbanization, and climate change. Surely people who were a core part of western ghats from ages and who knows or feels the forest from their heart and who doesn't see the forest for their economical benefit, should be allowed to stay and Govt should trust them. Moreover centre should pass the Gadgil report and take any further development out of western ghats. It's not about saving western ghats, but it's saving ourselves and future generations. We are alrdy seeing the adverse effects like heavy rains, floods etc for which Govt itself will need to come forward to save people. Let Govt open up their eyes n see clearly what steps are better for the overall benefit of mankind.
