5TH INNOVATION SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY POLICY the covid pandemic forced india to bring a new innovation science policy , with the changing scenario and growing influence of AI , aatmanirbhar , startups, space technology ,trade and commerce compelled to bring such policy . to make india self reliant in sci and tech . this policy will replace 2013 innovation policy , govt wants to make the data of research related information made accesible free to all citizen need to make india self reliant in s & t - this 21st century will marked the higher influnce in ai whether of infrastructure , commerce, trade , terrorism , infra , housing, digitisation all these area is directly affecyed by AI govt wants to rapidise this process with the vision of making india global leader in s&t one nation one subscription - currently india stood at third rank in world in publishing scientific journal , govt through this policy will take subscription of more than 3000 -4000 scientific journal across the world will spend 3000 cr on this whose publishing will be made accesible to all citizen at free of c FAIR data will be provided i.e Fair Accesible Inoperable Reusable data private investment - govt wants to promote private investment in resrch nd innovation main feature national science observatory- . all the research that are being done in india and the reports /result of this will be kept in this observatory . higher education research centre & collaborative research centre will also be setup - to bring at common place to all stakeholder and policy makers manak labs - million mind augmenting natinal aspirants and knowlwdge strategic technology development fund - to promote privitisation in research activity challenges right to privacy misuse of the scientific journal cooperation bw govt and private research
